Restaurante italiano com mesas num incrível jardim ao ar livre e todo iluminado com luzinhas nas árvores. Lindo! Fica dentro do hotel Soho House em uma curva da Collins Avenue. Imprescindível a reserva! Nos finais de semana serve um concorrido brunch.

JOE’S STONE CRAB: para comer frutos do mar
Uma instituição gourmet em Miami! A dica é antiga e lendária, mas continua valendo. Um restaurante tradicional e centenário de Miami. Prato principal: as famosas patas de caranguejo gigantes feitas na perfeição. A fila de espera e a dificuldade de conseguir uma mesa comprovam a fama dos seus pratos. Normalmente, abre somente para o jantar.

SMITH ANS WOLLENSKY: para uma vista dos navios passando pelo canal
Também, um ponto tradicional de Miami. Este restaurante serve carnes de primeira. Com uma vista incrível do canal por onde passam os barcos e navios de cruzeiros. Sua localização é o carro-chefe! Está posicionado dentro do delicioso South Point Park.

RUSTY PELICAN: para visitar Key Biscayne e curtir a vista noturna de Miami
Esta dica não é atual. É antiga. A gente adorava. Fica na entrada de Key Biscayne, logo após a ponte. Vista maravilhosa do skyline de Miami. A comida não era o ponto forte do restaurante, mas ouvi falar que, recentemente, recebeu uma melhora considerável (veja os comentários no TripAdvisor.) De qualquer forma, vale muito pelo clima. Lugar romântico, para ocasiões especiais. Curta o astral do fire pit da área externa. E chegue cedo para pegar o visual do fim de tarde.

THE BUTCHER SHOP: para ver arte urbana e fazer um brinde descolado
O local está mais para um bar do que um restaurante. Na verdade, é um gastropub (beer garden!) que conheci através do tour gourmet que fiz com a Miami Culinary Tours. A dica é visitar o imperdível Wynwood Walls (um museu a céu aberto próximo ao Design Distric) e depois dar um pulinho no The Butcher Shop . A inspiração decor de “açougue” é supercriativa.

CASA TUA: para um jantar italiano sofisticado e romântico
O restaurante não é novo. No entanto, continua agradando com seu ambiente romântico, principalmente nas mesas do jardim. A cozinha é de alta gastronomia italiana (mais caro do que o Cecconi). Aliás, os garçons e cozinheiros falam entre si em italiano. Como eu sei disso? Jantei em uma mesa grudadinha à cozinha!

É o restaurante perfeito para quem está pela área business de Miami, Dowtown. O Edge foi uma de nossas refeições mais memoráveis de Miami.
